Annapurna Base Camp Trek is one of the most famous trekking trails in the world. The stunning Annapurna Mountains includes the world’s tenth highest peak; Annapurna I (8091m) offers fascinating attractions to the mountaineers and trekkers. During the trekking to the Annapurna, you will get distinct views of Fishtail (Machhapuchhre), Annapurna South and Himchuli. Fishtail mountain is revered by the Nepalese for its wonderful beauty. Fishtail is a holy mountain and believed to be one of the homes of Lord Shiva and it has never been permitted and climbed; from the Machhapurchhre (Fishtail) Base Camp (MBC), you will see the close-up view of Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Gangapurna and Himchuli mountains.

Experiencing beautiful landscapes of Annapurna region from mountains to waterfalls to rhododendron forests to picturesque villages, we will reach to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC). Having an impressive view from Poonhill, we will trek further to Chomrong to Himalayan Hotel to Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC) and Annapurna Base Camp (ABC). This 13-Day Classic Annapurna Base Camp Trekking Trail offers brilliant, stunning, breathtaking Himalayan views of both of the Annapurna range and Dhaulagiri range along with other snow-capped peaks including Fishtail Mountain.
13-Day Classic Annapurna Base Camp Trekking Trail begins from Nayapul/Thikhedhunga as a starting point and you will hike up to Ulleri which covers large distance of stone steps and next day reach to Ghorepani. Enjoy brilliant mountain sunrise view from Poonhill (3210m), which is one of the highlighted days of this Classic Annapurna Base Camp Trek. Then we start trek further to Tadapani to Chomrong and to ABC. You will be walking through several suspension bridges, uphill trails, less vegetation areas and dense forested areas. 13-Day Classic Annapurna Base Camp Trekking Trail is considered as a moderate to demanding trail as you will be trekking through uphill and downhill that make trekkers tiring; although we have prepared an itinerary that is suitable to every normal trekker with proper rest and acclimatization. On the way back from ABC, we will stop at Jhino Hot Spring, which will enhance your tired body for the last trekking day of Annapurna Base Camp.
Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, one of our representatives from HimalayanWindows will receive you from the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) and transfer you to the hotel.
This day, our leader give brief introduction of the trip and advise do’s and don’t s during the trekking; in the evening stroll around the city- shopping for the trek – Overnight at hotel
Our guide will pick you up from the hotel early in the morning, you will be taken to the Tourist bus station and leave for Pokhara. The Bus leaves at 7:00 AM in the morning from Kantipath Bus station. It will take about seven hours to reach Pokhara. Stroll around Lakeside in Pokhara.

We start our trek from Birethanti (Nayapul) after one and half hour drive from Pokhara. We start our trek from Berethanti check point (TIMS and Permits will be checked), a small village with many shops and tea houses. We will take a lunch at Birethanti and trek further to Thikhedhunga through Bhurungdi Khola. The trail climbs steadily up the side of the valley to Hile (1495m). After a short walk, we reach Thikhedunga (1560m).

We trek towards the steep climb to Ulleri (2070m) through the Magar Village. Early trail to Ulleri has steep ascent with many stone steps and make you little bit tired. We will take a lunch at Ulleri then trek further to Banthanti (2250m). After the lunch, the trekking trail ascends more gently through the forest of Oak and Rhododendrons. Then we trek towards Nangethanti (2460m) and about an hour of uphill we will reach at Ghorepani (2840m).

Hike up to Poon hill early in the morning (1 hour before the sunrise), witness an impressive sunrise views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and Fishtail and trek back to Ghorepani. Take breakfast and walk further to Tadapani (2610m). We will trek along ridges, and through pine and rhododendron forests, towards Deurali (2960m) and descend to Banthanti, again hike up to Tadapani.

After Breakfast, trek with a steep downhill though rhododendron forests and reach Gurjung which is the village of Gurung community and take an easy walk further to Chomrong (2140m).

After breakfast, trek down to the Chomrong Khola and continue climbing to Khuldighar (2380m). This route goes through steeply down a rock bank and then running though thickets of bamboo at the bottom of the gorge, keeping always on the west side of the river. We walk through bamboo and rhododendron forest to the Himalayan Hotel.

After breakfast, the route climbs on past the Hinko Cave, Deurali and then Mahhapuhhre Base Camp (MBC). This area is totally surrounding by mountain and it is called Annapurna Sanctuary. After two hours of trek from MBC, we will reach to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) at an elevation of 4130m. Enjoy the spectacular view of the Annapurna Massif.

We trek back the same trail through the bank of Modi Khola to Bamboo.

Trek to Jhinu following the same train until Chomrong, once we cross Khuldighar, the trail continues through rhododendron and bamboo fields. The trail descend to Jhinu; take hot spring bath at Jhinu Hot Spring.

From Jhinu we trek from the right side of the Modi Khola and trek to Birethanti. We reach to Nayapul and drive back to Pokhara.
Overnight at Hotel
Wake up early in the morning and drive back to Kathmandu by tourist bus. Alternatively, you can also fly back to Kathmandu in order to explore the Kathmandu’s heritage sites.
